Merwin & Hulbert “Pocket Army” .44-40 caliber floral intaglio or period pinprick engraved with re-nickel plating and pearl grips, S/N 1778. 85%-95% old re-nickel finish remains and areas where finish has lifted shows graymetal patina and minor pitting and erosion. The marking on the frame are slightly weak but visible. The panel on the left shows birds. The front has been reduced and the grips are aged but good condition overall.Cocking but not locking. The bore is slightly rough. Western frontier era. (Antique) Est.: $2500-$5000
